Shop Class's lead instructor, Joe Clay, recently completed a commission for Carolina East Hospital. The hospital recently added a cancer center and needed furniture for the chapel.
Both the table and the lectern were constructed with soft maple for the bent laminate structure. Sepele and hard maple veneer completed the pieces.
Here they are in the chapel. Perfection.
