Service Description

Shop Class instructor Joe Clay, a hand tool enthusiast, teaches how to tune, use and properly sharpen various hand planes, chisels and scrapers. This is a hands-on workshop, so attendees are encouraged to bring their planes and/or chisels to be sharpened. As the Wood Whisperer says, “Power tools are for the grunt work; hand tools are for the finesse."
